Save The Page

One of my current literary lusts are bookmarks as Save The Dates.
It's the perfect way to introduce your guests to the style of your wedding, and if they're as bonkers about books as you are they'll adore them! Not only will it truly remind them to save the date (since they'll see it every time they turn the page on their favourite paper back) but it's a fantastic keep sake to remind everyone of your super special day (and a great reminder for anniversary gifts to come!)

Here are my 3 top Save The Date bookmarks!

Retro Wedding Invitations are responsible for these gorgeous Save The Date bookmarks, inspired by the classic Penguin covers. Not only are they stunning to stare at but they're also practical, doubling up as a library card! The beautiful design is instantly recognisable and not only will it look fantastic in your guests books but even non-readers (hiss) will understand the literary reference!
There's also a punctured hole, perfect for adding a ribbon that matches your colour scheme!

This is just one example of the lovely range of Save The Date bookmarks by A La Carte Studio. I love the personalised touch to this set. You could hire a photographer to take the perfect book-themed engagement photograph for the back to tie everything in together. I'm also a sucker for the mismatched font look, and this design captures that beautifully.

These bookmarks are adorable! Although they lack the personal touch of the previous Save The Date, the fact that they're handmade means not only are they thoughtful, but you'll save a small fortune!
I particularly love the tassels and the printed hand pointing towards the top. It gives the Save The Date bookmark a classic vintage feel.

So there you have it!
Have you, or would you use bookmark Save The Dates as part of your literary themed wedding ?
Which of these 3 are your favourites ? or can you recommend any others ?
Let me know in the comments.
